If you use Twitter with your campaign, you know how important retweets are in spreading your message. As with other marketing efforts, using call-to-actions can spur action and dramatically increase results.
But what CTAs will get you the best results and the most retweets? That’s the big question. However, there was a study that may supply the answer.
A few years back, HubSpot analyzed the use of call-to-actions for 2.7 million Tweets by using a retweets-per-follower ratio. He found seven call-to-action phrases that correlated with more retweets.

Does this mean you should say “Please Retweet” in every single tweet you make? Like with everything, moderation is key. But if you have something important to say, using a retweet call-to-action is certainly appropriate.
